A Video Project

I just made a video out of scrapbook slides for a school project of my son’s friend, Kylie.  Layouts used here were mostly quickpages from Scraps n’ Pieces, frames from Bon Scrapatit Designs, wordart from My Family, Photoshop and Me and other generous designers…

Menus of Windows Live Writer

The Use of Headers

I am now trying to see how this header function works.  I clicked the Header 1 and typed The Use of Headers and that’s what came up.

Heading 2

So now I am using the Heading 2 option and that’s what it will looked like.  It is automatically in all capital letters with spacing in between and small letter size.

Heading 3

Heading 3 looks similar to the font used in the Post Title.

Heading 4, 5 and 6

This time around Heading 4-6 are the same with that of the Post Body.

Insert Functions

Aside from hyperlink, picture and photo album (which I have already discussed in my previous posts),  you can also insert the following:

Making Headway w/ My Blinkie

I woke up 3 in the morning and can’t catch my sleep again, and as always, it’s my computer who’s my reliable companion in this time of need ha ha ha…

And since I’m having a lot of patience this morning :-) I decided to make a blinkie for My Photoblog site.  I made it a little bigger than the usual blinkie that I see (200 by 125) to suit my taste.  I created the animation using Picasion.  The downside of this site though is that you can use only a maximum of 10 frames, so limited for my liking.  I don’t know yet if it is possible to go beyond ten frames.  But anyway, it can suffice for the moment.  And so here’s my blinkie ….

Presenting My Charice Favorites

Have you ever heard a "little girl" by the name of "Charice Pempengco"?

Well, she is a 16 year-old filipina and giving great honors for our country through singing.  Her fame started when somebody by the name of FalseVoice uploaded at YouTube her singing stint (w/ her almost signature song now...And I Am Telling You from Dream Girls) in a Korean talent search.  This was also the video that caught Ellen's eyes that paved the way for her travelling to US for a guesting stint at Ellen de Generes Show, and later followed by two performances at Ophra.  And thru Ophra, she was given the opportunity to sing with one of her favorites... the Celine Dion.  She's being handled by the well-known David Foster and her latest superb performance was when she sang "God Bless America" at US Pre-Inaugural Balls. I heard she will also be a part of the coming Oscar Awards Post Celebration Party and I just can't wait to see what she will do this time around.

These videos are just a few of my favorites to watch especially her version of "I Will Survive" which she did at Good Morning America Show (I really don't know why after the video has ended, it automatically continous to play.  I don't want to delete it here either because I am so proud of her here.  Guess you just have to get out out my blogsite :-( after viewing the video).  There are still a lot videos out there and you can all catch them at YouTube.

Friendship Award!!!

Geeee!!!! Got another award before the month ends and this time around from one of my favorite awesome designer, Joni of JoniGray Digiscrap Freebies.  And by the way, please do drop by at her site now because she has a lovely kit to offer and it’s called Bunny’s Challenge (10 papers and 30 elements) with violet (my fav!) as the dominant color.

And now for the beautiful award…the “Friendship Award”!!!! Thanks Joni… so sweet of you to think of me….

And now the rules… post it on your blog, refer to the blog you received it from and nominate 5-7 or so blogs and let them know about it.

So time to pass it on….

My Angel, My Friend...

I saw this poem and this image in one of my internet surfing and I liked the message so much that I want to share it with all of you....
Just put your cursor on the on the upper right portion of the image and click the view full size to appreciate the poem...and if you want to hear the song "Angels Brought Me Here", just click on the play icon.. you have two versions to choose from, one from Guy Sebastian and the other, from Carrie Underwood. And if you are in the mood to sing, then here's the lyrics for you to enjoy it more...

"Angels Brought Me Here"

[Verse 1]
It's been a long and winding journey, but i'm finally here tonight
Picking up the pieces, walking back into the light
Into the sunset of your glory, where my heart and future lies
There's nothing like that feeling, when i look into your eyes...

My dreams came true, when i found you
I found you, my miracle...

If you could see, what i see, that you're the answer to my prayers
And if you could feel, the tenderness i feel
You would know, it would be clear, that angels brought me here...

[Verse 2]
Standing here before you, feels like i've been born again
Every breath is your love, every heartbeat speaks your name...

[Bridge 2]
My dreams came true, right here in front of you
My miracle...

If you could see, what i see, you're the answer to my prayers
And if you could feel, the tenderness i feel
You would know, it would be clear, that angels brought me here...

[Bridge 3]
Brought me here to be with you,
I'll be forever grateful (oh forever Faithful)
My dreams came true
When I found you
My miracle...

If you could see, what i see, you're the answer to my prayers
And if you could feel, the tenderness i feel
You would know, it would be clear, that angels brought me here...
Yes they brought me here...
If you could feel, the tenderness i feel...
You would know, it would be clear, that angels brought me here...

Experimenting on Background Layouts

I got inspired again to make background layouts for my blog when I saw Dallien’s Dusky Lily Kit.  It is in the shades of dark violet (violet being a favorite color of mine) and the elements are really superb.  Take a look at her kit….

Dallien DL elements previewDallien DL papers preview Out of this kit, I was able to create two background layouts….

Copy of Page1_0

and this is my corresponding header for the violet layout…

Copy (2) of Page1

and this is the matching header for the brown layout….

These two background layouts are actually my second attempt on doing background layout.  I will be using them if and when I am “tired” of my present layouts!!!!

Here is my initial creation which I did out of two template kits of Amanda Thorderson Digital Scrapbook Designs, Butterflies are Free and Chugs No. 5.  MyPhotoBlog site is now sporting this layout…

As much as I want to offer these layouts as freebies, I still can’t because I don’t have any idea yet as to how those “file-download sharing” works.  But if somebody out there is interested, maybe I just can send it via e-mail…

P.S.  So sorry that I immediately offered the background layouts as freebies at my sites.  I was advised that I had to ask first the permission of the designer if I am allowed to do so.  Anyway, I had already conveyed my intentions to the designer concerned and will keep you all posted about it.

What A Nice Gift Indeed!!!

Well, guess what????  My master, Memorykeeper of Easy Custom Blogs gave me a “nice gift” ---- MY OWN BLINKIE!!!!  It really came as a surprise to me.  I never expected somebody would be doing this thing to me on her own volition! I know that it entails a lot of hardwork and patience to come up with a blinkie… so from the bottom of my heart, thank you sweetie!!!!

And here goes my gift, and I would like to share with all of you.  It now occupies a space in the upper right  corner of my blog!!!!

Scrap a Blinkie – My Style

Two days ago, I wrote about my ordeal about the “blinkie thing”.  Well, I did pass the stage thing of incorporating it in my blog site.  This time, no hitches with the hosting site.  But… and a BIG “BUT”….. I haven’t produced yet a satisfying blinkie of my own.  There are so many exciting and adorable blinkies out there and I have no idea yet how they are done.  What I am after to learn is how they seem to move around (not just simply changing pictures).  Let’s take a peek at some blinkies that I do admire….

There are still a lot of outstanding blinkies but I think I have demonstrated clearly already what message I am trying to impart.  Somehow I have an idea how to do it but what I am thinking would entail a lot of work to do (making numerous images, step-by-step movements).  And I don’t think I have a lot of patience for that now…. :-(

So, for the meantime, I made this blinkie, “my style” which I am posting in my sites, situated at the right corner of my blogs.  I just love the phrase “Live, Laugh and Love” and so I surfed for different variations of it….

There you are… “my blinkie” for the moment…. till I come across a tutorial that will suit my needs ha ha….

Note:  The site I used for doing the blinkie is Picasion, as suggested by Memorykeeper in her tutorial at her site Easy Custom Blogs
